DMIC Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor

The Government of India is developing Delhi – Mumbai Industrial Corridor as a global manufacturing and investment destination utilizing the 1500 km long, high capacity western Dedicated Railway Freight Corridor (DFC) as the backbone. In essence , the Delhi – Mumbai Industrial cities in India, which can complete with the best manufacturing and investment destination in the world.

The plan is to develop new manufacturing cities, logistical hubs and residential townships along the 1500 km stretch. Incorporating the philosophy of sustainability and development, each manufacturing city will boast of world – class infrastructure, convenient public transport, power management and an efficient water and waste management system. Once completed, these nodal towns will ease the pressure on the burgeoning cities and will be the hallmark of a resurgent India.
